I am not sure if we could go as far to say that it is a reason for not staying there (note I have not gone that far).

However, it should be noted that I was told by one of the members of the committee that you do not even have to be a Christian to be the warden.

I think we can distinguish between job companies that are run by pagans, and an organisation that is supposed to be run by Christians, but is being governed by humanistic principles.

Although maybe I am going too far in saying that I couldn’t work for them. I will think about it. Though I can definitely say that I have no desire to work for them.

Please note this is NOT an attack on the RP church, as CRA has nothing (officially at least) to do with the denomination.

I knew Renwick got government funding and that they therefore had to make the house open to others outside the P.R. Church. I was not aware of other conditions. What exactly are they?

Most jobs are for companies and organisations that are subject to equal opportunities’ legislation; is this fact on its own reason for not working for them?

As for girlfriends, well its alright for you with all those nice-looking Baptist girls to choose from – try being an RP and you will find its not so easy.

Statism is when the state takes power to itself beyond its God-appointed role of administering justice, fighting defensive wars, establishing the true religion etc. And when the state becomes basically totalitarian in its power.

Egalitarianism is the idea of equal opportunities and other such things.

I took a number of posts from that site and put them on my Word Press blog. Once Jill (my wife) and I start having children that Buie Family site should get a lot more interesting, but for now it’s staying rather low-key.

We are also told in the Bible to be in the world but not of the world. Complain about erastianism all you want, but a fat lot of good it will do the world if Christians build up walls around themselves and make no effort to get side by side with needy sinners. If you want to bash Renwick anymore come and do it in person instead of losing sleep writing about us at 3.15 in the morning.
